ZTE unveils Mimosa X

Chinese multinational ZTE has announced its first Nvidia Tegra branded smartphone - Mimosa X. ZTE plans to make the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich bearing handset available in the second quarter of this year. Nvidia has worked closely with the ZTE to add the dual-core Tegra 2 mobile processor and the Nvidia Icera 450 modem to the new Mimosa X handset. ZTE has used a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that supports 960x540 pixel resolution. At the back, the smartphone will offer 5 megapixel camera with Flash and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front for video calls.

The Mimosa X will also feature Dolby Mobile support for the best possible audio output and Digital Living Network Alliance certified. That means it would be a total entertainment package with HD video playback capability and great sound output. The phone also features dual-microphones for better video recording functionalities with the 5 megapixel camera. Nvidia has also offered the Icera 450 modem chip that powers the phone to support up to 21 Mbps data speeds. Most importantly, the smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
