Zync launches 3G tablet for Rs 11,990

The 7 inch tablet is based on Android 4.0 and offers SIM calling function along with other features like 1.5 GHz processor and 4200 mAH battery. Zync, a homegrown tablet brand has launched a new 7 inch tablet called Zync Z-999+ with Android 4.0 operating system and SIM slot for 3G connectivity and voice calling function.

The tablet priced at Rs 11,990 offers a 1.5 GHz processor based on ARM Cortex A8 architecture coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB RAM. The tablet has a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The tablet also gets a 2 megapixel camera at the back and VGA camera in the front.

Other features of the tablet include HDMI port, USB port, 8 GB internal memory and 32GB expandable memory. The phone weighs 340 grams and comes with a 4200 mAH battery. This is the third tablet from Zync and the earlier ones being Z-900 Plus, Z-990, Z990 plus. However this is the first 3G tablet from the company.

Price in India: Google Nexus 7

Google has launched its first own branded tablet PC named Google Nexus 7. It is a 7-inch capacitive touch screen tablet running Google Android OS v4.1 Jelly Bean (first tablet with this version of Android). The tablet is using the IPS technology for bright and crispier display and is manufactured by ASUS (also known as ASUS Nexus 7). It is powered by quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and supports NFC connectivity. It is launched in two versions with 16GB and 32GB storage each.  Google Nexus 7 Price in India will start from around Rs.15, 000. Not available in India yet.
