Nokia Asha 303 coming to India in March

Nokia Asha 303, which is based on S40 operating system, comes with touch and type input and a speedy 1 GHz processor. Nokia will launch yet another mobile phone under its Asha series - Asha 303, in India next month. The new Nokia Asha 303, which is based on S40 operating system, comes with touch and type input and a speedy 1 GHz processor. It is equipped with a 2.6 inch capacitive touch screen display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution and a proximity sensor.

The phone supports up to 32 GB expandable memory, 100 MB of internal memory, a 3.2 megapixel digital camera with zoom and video capture capability, a video player, music player, and FM radio. On the connectivity front it has options like GPRS, Edge, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB. Asha 303 offers the familiar convenience of touch and type phones, but comes with a slightly bigger screen and, most importantly, a full QWERTY keyboard.

The phone has a dedicated music key for instant access to music and Shazam (a music application). Angry Birds Lite, the popular mobile game, comes preinstalled in the handset. Besides, the phone has globally relevant applications such as Facebook Chat, Whatsapp messaging and the latest release of Nokia Maps for Series 40. This phone comes in six vibrant colours - red, graphite, silver white, aqua, green, and purple. The Finnish handset manufacturer has positioned the Asha series between smartphones and feature phones, offering QWERTY and touch screen experience, combined with fast and easy access to the internet, integrated social networking, messaging and world-class applications from the Nokia Store.
