Sony Mobile to unveil Xperia TX on August 29

Sony Mobile is expected to announce its next flagship Smartphone with Google Android operating system later this month. This new Xperia NXT family model is reportedly the same Smartphone, which was spotted at several benchmark lists some time back, with model number LT29i and codename Hayabusa. It is most likely to be branded as Xperia TX.

Sony Mobile is expected to introduce this Smartphone with dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor and a 13-megapixel camera. The Xperia Blog reported that a Sony Mobile event is scheduled on August 29, same day on which Samsung Unpacked Event is set to take place.

This Xperia family Smartphone will feature a 4.6-inch touch screen display which natively supports 720p HD (1280x720) pixel resolution. It will be slim and have the same arched design at its back like the Xperia Arc and will have on screen buttons (which will appear once the phone's screen comes to life).

Sony Xperia TX will feature 13 megapixel camera which we believe comprises of Sony Exmor R sensor and there will be a flash located below it. For running everything smoothly, Sony will use a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon family of mobile processor clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with 1 GB memory. Sony Xperia TX will by default run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and will have the layer of Sony's own TimeScape User Interface on top of it.
