Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to feature quad-core processor

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 is finally a reality and expected to be launched on August 15 this year. Samsung showed the Galaxy Note 10.1 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in February. The Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet will feature a bigger version of S Pen Stylus and the S Note application optimized for the tablet screen.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet features a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos 4 Quad 4412 mobile processor which is the same one used in the Galaxy S III Smartphone. This quad-core mobile processor is coupled with 2 GB RAM that would give it enough hardware muscle to drive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz user interface and LivePanel UX. It will offer 16 GB on-board storage (or more) besides memory card slot for storage expansion.

Its 10.1-inch touch screen will feature 1280x800 pixel resolution natively which is kind of a surprise because Acer and Asus have announced full 1080p HD resolution supporting tablets. The Galaxy Note 10.1 will have a 5 megapixel camera at the back capable of recording 1080p HD video and a 1.9 megapixel camera in the front for video chat. Samsung Galaxy Note will come with a massive 7000 mAh battery to make it run longer and also to complement the quad-core processor.
